ABOUT THE ARTIST
Toomas Altnurme (born 1973) is internationally recognized sculptor ,painter , educator designer,photographer . He studied Art Education in Tallinn University , Estonia , Fine Art Rajamangala University in Thailand , South Korea, Seoul National University , Kyonghee University as well as Hongik University, from where he graduated with Masters of Fine Art .
His works are in 50 countries around the world museums and private collections all public spaces. A few of the more important monumental sculptures locations: United Arab Emirates ,Liwa , United States, Sumter South Carolina, Canada in Quebec, Russia Penza, Chile Carretas, Brazilian Brusque; Costa Rica Cauhita,Taiwan Shimen , Japan ShinJuku, Thailand, Indonesia Bali, Bangkok Singapour, Seoul, South Korea Hojer Denmark, France, Germany - Saint Henry Bavaria, England Exmoor, Spain Cervera , Latvia, Lithuania Panevezys Biksere , KUMU Art Museum of Estonia and public spaces and parks in Estonia
Toomas Altnurme has worked to capture and intrigue the art community with his beautiful work. He gather much of his inspiration from personal tales, the environment, and cultures around the world. His pieces embody some of their own life experiences, which has led them to work with leading artists and clients around the world to assist with specific works
Currently he is teaching Fine Art in United Arab Emirates University.
